Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys is a non-profit organization that depends on the support of individuals, businesses, and the community at large to continue our mission of creating truly affordable homeownership to income qualified, hard working residents in Marathon.

Habitat Middle Keys is able to create truly affordable homes which are sold to hard working residents due to the generous donations of labor and materials from individuals, businesses and faith-based organizations in the community and through significant monetary gifts. Habitat depends on your support to continue our mission.

Giving

When planning your estate, you should consider making a contribution to Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys. Not only are you contributing to the fulfillment of our mission, you may also gain significant tax advantages. While the most popular estate-planning tool is the CRT, you might consider the benefits of other charitable trust options, as well. In addition, donations of land, vehicles, boats and other large items support Habitat. Please speak with your attorney to determine which option is right for you.

House Sponsorships & Corporate Donations

Partnerships with businesses, corporations, congregations, and civic groups help Habitat for Humanity build homes throughout the Middle Keys. Groups cannot only financially support construction of a house they also have the opportunity to provide volunteers that can help physically with certain phases of the build of the home they sponsor. To find out how your group or company can participate to sponsor a house, or part of a house, call our office at  305-743-9828.

Cars for Homes

TIP: We also accept trucks, vessels, rvs, motorcycles, construction or farm equipment, all running or not!!!

Your vehicle donation will help Habitat for Humanity build homes in our community.

Volunteer

Investing your time in the lives of others by volunteering with Habitat Middle Keys is a truly rewarding experience. We have opportunities for everyone – whether it’s a group of friends, family, co-workers or just you; we welcome volunteers of all skill levels and interests. Maybe you have a knack for organization? Or, you love bringing people together to celebrate? Donate your time for our annual fundraisers or special events that directly support the work of Habitat Middle Keys.

Community Outreach

As opportunities arise, help us spread the message about the important work of Habitat Middle Keys by reaching out to local schools, organizations and corporations. Use your expertise with the spoken or written word to raise awareness and funds for Habitat.
